Since 2008, BodyTree Academy (BTA) has been offering Pilates Teacher Certification programs and continued education courses and workshops for fitness professions in Singapore and Asia.
REINVENTING THE PILATES TEACHER TRAINING COURSE
At the heart of BTA’s Pilates Teacher Training courses is The PREHAB TRAINER™ Program; which is a step-by-step critical thinking process and practical approach to programming a safe and highly effective class. As of 2020, this is BodyTree Academy has started to incorporate more online learning using our exclusive e-learning portal so that our students could continue to study and learn in their own time; Trainees get to watch the video resources as many times as they wanted to enhance their learning and cut down the need for students to take extended leave from work to complete their certification.
Our educators are elite group of instructor trainers who have the same passion for Pilates and helping people who have been hand picked by the founders to facilitate courses and help our students perfect their instructing skills. We continue to review and improve our courses regularly so that they remain the most up to date and best possible courses in the industry.

Each of our educators are also mentors to our trainees in the Pilates Teacher Training program - sharing their knowledge generously to new teachers.

BodyTree Academy’s intention is to elevate a fitness professional’s quality of teaching regardless of his/her chosen movement discipline.
Having been trained and personally mentored by one of our founders, Jerry Teo, I have had the privilege of experiencing first hand, the sincerity and passion that our teaching faculty has in the area of education. The education at BTA has been pivotal to my current successes as a Pilates Teacher, and I am passionate about helping our students kick start their careers and experience the same joy I have had in my career as a Pilates Teacher.
